The Bristol to Bordeaux Cycle Challenge

The countdown is now on for this years Cycle Challenge. The Props Cycyle Team are working very hard on this years event, which starts on MAY 27th. Find out more about this fantastic event here: www.pedalforprops.org

The Best of the West Sixes

Bath Community Rugby, Bristol Ladies and Props have teamed up to provide a unique double header of Sixes Touch Rugby. The first leg will take place at the Rec on the 15th of May with the second leg at North Bristol RFC on the 7th of August. Register your interest now by contacting Props through the contact pages.

Here is a list of events coming up soon:

• March 4th The Bris Trust Race Night, at the Memorial Stadium from 7pm
• Sunday March 7th. Dave and Hazel from the sixthform will be representing the school in the Clifton Rotary Club annual swimmathon. Sponsor forms available on request
• Sunday 7th March Props Barbarians v Bristolians at Old Bristolians, near Ashton Court Bristol. Our Barbarian side features our own Nick Trivett, and also a sprinkling of ex internationals. Raffle and usual hospitality. Kicking off at 1pm.
• Monday 15th March. Senior pupils will be featuring in the “Dragons Den” in London”s Victoria, bidding for support for their Business Enterprise schemes.
• Wednesday 28th April. Our Business Enterprise scheme has been chosen for an award at the ASDAN Celebration day to be held at Bristol Zoo. Our Business partners, Community Volunteers and Sixthform students will be
• Saturday May 6th. Props Barbarians v Frampton Cotteral. Raffle and usual hospitality. Free entry from 1pm.
• Saturday May 15th. The Best in the West Sixes. This is a touch rugby tournament featuring corporate teams from the area. Last year our inclusive team included three Briarwood Sixth formers. We came second in the tournament to Bath’s England International Matt Banahan”s team. Kicking off at 10am. Details on our website.
• Thursday May 20th. The National Institute of Gas Engineers Annual Golf Day. At the Kendleshire. Tables available. Proceeds to PROPS.
• May 27th to June 2nd. The Bristol to Bordeaux Cycle Challenge. Our major event of the year and one in which we want you to get behind our riders and sponsor them for this magnificent effort. Dave, Nick and Andy Cameron will be braving the 400 mile journey to raise funds to support our students. You can pledge now by logging onto :
