Bordeaux Wine Tasting

With our Bordeaux Cycle Challenge only weeks away, our riders are now approaching peak fitness!! The riding squad are also working hard to raise valuable resources for us to sustain and develop our unique service to those with special needs. Props Trustee and rider, Kevin Smith, is kicking off his campaign with a simply unmissable event: The 2011 Bristol to Bordeaux Wine Tasting, at the stunning Pinkney Park. LAst years event was superb. Here’s Kevin:

“Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event I am happy to announce the 2011 Bristol to Bordeaux Wine Tasting

The evening will be hosted Jackie from Oxford Wine Company in Tetbury who will be guiding us through the appellations we will encounter as we pedal our way to Bordeaux.  Those of you who know her (she was previously Bona Wines) will know that Jackie’s tastings are always great fun and her enthusiasm and knowledge of wine are second to none.

The evening will be held on Friday May 20th from 7:30pm at Pinkney Park, Sherston, SN16 0NX (by kind permission of Capt. and Mrs Matthews)

There is no charge for the evening (free wine!!). However, we would ask that you make a donation towards our charity PROPS at the following website:
