We have close links with a number of businesses that help support our inclusive work within the community. There are a number of ways in which we can work in partnership, and at PROPS we understand that businesses require a variety of benefits from their relationship with us.

Whether you are part of a huge company or going it alone PROPS can offer you the opportunity to get involved with community projects and work together as partners. As a partner of PROPS we are able to produce merchandise and advertising such as banners and printed T-shirts or we could train your staff to a level 2 qualification in volunteering Please contact PROPS for details of our corporate membership scheme.
Individuals
We rely on volunteers to enable us to carry out all our projects. We need active people to help us raise money and get involved. From donating money or prizes, becoming a member, raising sponsorship, arranging a fundraiser or volunteering and helping out. If you are organising a sponsored event you may be wondering about the best way to organise and publicise your event and collect the money. Propsforward.org has all the tools you'll need.
Thank you so much for raising funds for PROPS. We do appreciate all the effort that goes into training and the fundraising for these events. Please let us know what size you would like, and we will forward a PROPS T-Shirt for your use. Also, any photos of the event (before or after!) along with event publicity can be put in the newsletter or on the web site.
We would very much like you to use our sponsorship form. This is so that we can reclaim 28p for every £1 that is donated in sponsorship by a UK taxpayer. However the forms need to be filled in with all the essential information otherwise we cannot reclaim a penny. A copy is available for you to download.
The easiest way for us to receive your money is in the form of one cheque from the event participant plus the sponsorship form. This is because we have to show an audit trail and as you can imagine this is far easier with just one cheque! However if you prefer to send in multiple cheques and cash that is also perfectly acceptable as we really do appreciate any monies donated and recognise the time and effort involved in collecting in sponsorship money.
The easiest way to arrange a sponsored event is to use JustGiving. JustGiving provides individual fundraisers with an easy way to raise serious money for charity quickly, tax-efficiently and online. They provide you with a personal fundraising web page, helping you to build your page in a few minutes. Then you e-mail your friends - they donate by credit or debit card, you watch the total grow and the money is sent straight to PROPS.
JustGiving will reclaim the tax for you through the Gift Aid scheme before they pass the donations to us. JustGiving charges a small transaction fee on every donation made on this website. The fee is currently 5% of the gross donation, which is the donation plus any tax reclaimed under Gift Aid. This means that, when a donation is made by a UK taxpayer, the charity receives approximately £12 for every £10 donated, which makes JustGiving one of the most efficient methods of making a donation. When a donation is not eligible for tax reclaim, the 5% fee applies to the donation alone.
