Props make progress
June and July is another busy period for Props. We are working hard to prepare for the opening of our new Centre in September. This is why your memberships and fund raising efforts are so important to us, because your support makes us successful. We have some very big thank you’s to make to our Golfers from Kendleshire and the Institute of Gas Engineers. Both groups kindly have chosen ourselves to support, and due to their generosity and hard play, we are pleased to annpunce some substantial donations. Chris Boyle, the Captain of Kendleshire had this to say:
“As Captain of The Kendleshire Golf Club for 2010, I am happy to have the opportunity to lead fundraising efforts in aid of PROPS. I wanted the fundraising to be in aid of a local charity that worked with young people and it quickly became clear to me that PROPS was the perfect choice. We already have a new sign in place, developed by the team at Briarwood School, to remind golfers of the tradition at The Kendleshire to make a donation to charity if them are unlucky enough to hit a ball into the lake on the 18th. We have a variety of fundraising activities scheduled throughout the forthcoming season and I hope we will continue to spread the word about the great work that PROPS are doing.”
